What is a concrete mixer truck?

The concrete is guided through a series of chutes to where it needs to be poured. From here, the concrete can be smoothed out by hand and left to set.
How long can you keep concrete in the truck?
During the process of mixing concrete, the key is to ensure that the cement remains in a liquid form. This liquid form is retained through a unique rotation of the concrete mixer’s barrel. The process of mixing and agitating the cement components is called batching. There is about a two-hour window in which the batched concrete can remain in the truck’s barrel before it begins hardening.
