Where do I begin with my outstanding experience with Transwest (Frederick); Chris Kapper and his extremely knowledgeable background as well as his astute attention to detail, Stephanie Paxton with her superb financial prowess and competence and finally Marlon with his smile and Caribbean draw finalized an extremely detailed walkthrough of our 2025 Winnebago Revel 44E (complete with care basket). The analogy of a ‘fine oiled machine’ comes to mind when thinking of my experience with Transwest. Thank you team for renewing my faith in an otherwise tedious and tired system.

We recently purchased a new motor home from Todd Thorton at Transwest. Todd and all the folks at the dealership made this an exceptional experience. I’d highly recommend Todd and Transwest for anyone looking for a new or used motor home.

We drove from New Mexico to Fredrick Colorado to get our RV. After talking with Chris Kapper, on the phone prior to leaving Las Cruces,we knew we were going to like the people at Transwest! Stephanie was wonderful! So easy to talk to and made our purchase stress free! There were so many people that interacted with us To make us free comfortable and welcomed at this property! I wish I could remember everyone’s name! The mechanics went out of their way to correct an issue that came up unexpectedly! Again, the service was excellent! This is the place to go if wanting to purchase a RV That is clean free ,of issues and great staff! We will definitely visit them again!

Today I purchased a Winnebago Adventure Wagon from Transwest and traded in my previous camper, and I cant rave enough how good the experience was from receptionist, sales, sales manager, finance and parts. I want to especially highlight my experience working with Chris Kapper in sales, who made the whole experience easy and seamless. Chris is by far the best salesman I have ever worked with in any transaction of this nature including past RV purchases and regular vehicle purchases. My last camper was purchased at a competitor and the difference in experience was night and day. Chris and the finance staff didn't exert any of that slimy, high pressure sales tactics, bait and switch or up-charging that I have had to experience at every other dealership. Chris not only knew his stuff when it came to the product line and technical details, but is genuinely one of the nicest people I have met in any professional setting. You can tell he really cares about his customers and not just trying to skim every dollar out of a deal like other dealers I have worked with. Another point I would like to make is if you are a veteran, you will be taken care of. Chris picked up that I was a military veteran (as is he) from my use of the phonetic alphabet and he went the extra mile to take care of me. Most companies or sales people who say they take care of veterans are usually playing lip service, Chris and Transwest actually do it. I also want to give more props to Chris and the Sales Manager Brian who is also a veteran when it came to my trade in. My trade-in camper experienced a mechanical problem on the drive into Transwest that had never happened before. I called Chris on the drive in to explain the situation and he calmed my very high stress at that moment and told me his team will take a look at it together. They were able to find out that it was still covered under the factory warranty and they were able to take the trade in at the original agreed trade value, and they would take care of having the warranty work done so I could still leave with my new camper. This to me is above and beyond what most dealers would be willing to do. Last, I want to highlight my experience with the finance department. The finance dept from my last camper purchase from a competitor left a really bad taste in my mouth through high pressure add-ons I didn't want, and offering rates well above market. Xala and Stephanie who I worked with in finance did none of that. They didn't make me feel bad for checking their rate vs my own lenders and they didn't pressure me into warranties or coverages I didn't want. In the end, their lender's rate was actually the best I found given the loan term, which in my past experience is pretty rare. My experience with other dealers is they try to stack more dealer profit at finance and I am so relieved I didn't have to go through that battle with Transwest. Again, just a top to bottom wonderful experience, so much so that I felt compelled to give Chris a hug as I was leaving. To underscore how big of a deal that is, I'm an almost 40 year old prior Marine who never feels the need to give people hugs and am generally uncomfortable doing that, but I felt like I had to express my gratitude and relief for how he took care of me. Thank you!

Recently purchased a used Summit Adventure van from a private party that was originally purchased from Transwest. I had several small items that I needed to purchase along with some technical questions. I was fortunate enough to get in touch with Daniel Maes. He was amazing. Not only friendly and helpful but what questions he was not able to answer, got the answers in a timely manner and communicated back with me in a timely fashion. If he said he would be in touch the next day, he did exactly that. That is getting more and more rare these days. Keep up the great work!

Service department was friendly, knowledgeable about what needs fixing. The estimate was what I paid, no hidden amounts. Had a slight emergency and they were accommodating about getting my issue fixed and quickly.

We always have the best ever in transwest. Today, Tony worked with us. He was not just super nice with us, but he really really knows about cpass A rvs. Soemthing pretty reare these days is to find a sales person that is not pushy and at the same time knows A LOT about the brands models etc. Incredible great experience. Our experience with Transwest Frederick was great!!!! Shopping for a family RV with salesman Chris Kapper was perfect!!!! We walked through several on lot options and picked the one that was right for us. Chris was incredibly knowledgeable on all the details of the RV and answered days of questions!!!!! Delivery assistant Marlon also ensured our system was fully functional and educated us on the deep dive details of all the on board systems!! We are more than pleased with our purchase experience!!!!! Thank you all so very much!!!!!!

After looking for a Newmar motorhome at many "chain" RV dealerships, I finally found Todd at Transwest Truck Trailer of Fredrick RV. You cannot compare him to any other sales representative from other business. He is a specialist in customer service and overall care. He is the only person out of the many calls to other dealerships that call back, email back, follow up with his promises, takes time to explain any RV questions, give extensive details, and is simply just a nice guy. He is trustworthy and will try all he can do to meet the needs of the customers budget. I may add, he offered more for our trade in than any other place we tried. What a guy! We live in Florida far from Transwest but their offer was worth the distance. I do not know Todd personally and I am writing this simply because he deserves the credit and for anyone looking for a great deal that has a hard time finding professional commited represesnatives. Old fashion customer service at it's best and a overall creditable business. 👍👏💯

Can’t say enough good things about Steven Vega in the Transwest service department! We’ve been working with Steve for about a year on various service/warranty issues with our 2023 Solis and he’s been awesome. Very knowledgeable, communicative and friendly. Definitely a five star guy!

We were waiting on parts for our Winnebago for recall and he kept us updated weekly, notified us right away and got our RV in for service as soon as he could. My husband & I met with Lance Ortega at Transwest in Belton, MO. We were very pleased with the service and he paid attention to what we were really interested in, so he knew what to show us. He gave us a lot of info that we did not know. He was very friendly and very thorough. He actually showed us something we were most interested in, but we just can't swing it. We were so impressed with him that any more searching we do (once we know it is possible) we will be seeing Lance to help us out. Thank you Lance!

Well I did something I’ve not done before. Bought a used but expensive RV without having seen it in person! But now that I have taken delivery I am very happy with the RV and the way the entire process was handled!! My sales person was Deborah and she was fabulous throughout the entire sale! She was responsive and very transparent with me about the condition of the RV and instilled confidence that what I was purchasing was as represented in pictures and the description. We had it delivered to Michigan by Alex, a Transwest driver who was outstanding to deal with! I am very pleased with all of the people I dealt with at Transwest from sales to service to delivery! We purchased a 2020 ;used summit adventure van. We have owned some big super C Motorhomes purchased new from more than one dealer all over the country. We have been rv owners for 30 plus years. Even though this wasn’t a big high dollar deal,we honestly had the best buyers experience ever! AC was our salesman and did an amazing job from day one. His communication was top notch and everyone at the dealership was on time and very personable and professional.. The Van more than met our expectations and we basically bought it online never seeing it,trusting the great video and a/c’s word….. rented a car drove in from California and drove it home. WOW..... Big thanks to the service department. My coach had a broken plumbing line under the kitchen sink under the floor and Brian the service manager and his team stepped up and got me fixed while being booked out a few days. He made me feel that they would do whatever they could to put me back on the road asap! Thanks again I will definitely be referring travelers your way while your in charge!

The service team at Transwest - Belton just finished the install of our new tow and braking system for our coach and pickup. The service team was extremely professional and friendly. They kept us updated on part arrivals, as well as throughout the install process. A special shout-out thanks to Brad who helped us order our system, Kris our service advisor and Darrell our service technician. All were super to work with and always willing to answer our questions. Darrell even stayed after hours to make sure my wife and I were familiar with the new tow system and comfortable driving with the tow vehicle. Lance our Salesman, Troy the RV Tech, who walked us through our “new to us” motorhome, and Richard the Finance Manager, all went above and beyond to make our purchase a great time. I called them from the road with an issue with my motorcoach. They put me right on the schedule for the next morning and invited me to state in their parking lot with 50 Amp hookup for the night. The next morning I was the first coach in, the repairs were done by 10am. Everyone was awesome. They even welcomed our furry friends to hang out in their lounge with us while they worked on figuring out what the problem was with our rig.

Have had great service at Transwest since we purchased our 2022 Winnebago Solis in September 2021. We pulled our motorhome out of storage last week and saw some cracks and blistering in the fiberglass of the poptop roof/camper tent. We contacted Transwest and Steven Vega jumped right on it. Within 2 days after we gave him the details he had coordinated the warranty repair approval with Winnebago and will be giving us periodic updates on parts delivery and work schedules. I bought a low mileage 2023 Tiffin Open Road 34PA from Belton, Missouri . My salesman was Marc, and I purchased it with photos and descriptions from him. The rv was like new. I didn't disclose some damage outside and ended up adjusting my trade-in value by $1000, which had been the best trade-in value I received. I highly recommend dealing with Marc at Transwest for your purchase. He is very helpful. (He even offered to help us move our things from our old rv to the new one.) P.S. , Transwest found an old wallet with cash in my old rv after I left and mailed it back to me.

You Cannot find a better RV dealership than Transwest, Period! I Purchase a Renegade April 2023, and purposely waited to give a review of there operation until I had experienced it first hand. From Sales to Service to the parts department they all get 5 stars. To start, the department you will probably deal with the most is service and enough can't be said About Steve who is the best, 2nd to none. His Follow-up, listening skills, and patience are out standing. Next, the Tech's who do the work on your RV are great and concern that you approve and like the work they have done to your RV. Josh who is a tech did some extensive work on my 2023 Jeep Grand cherokee and My Renegade so I could flat tow it behind, Great Job! Parts Department Daniel is great at what hes does, always willing to go the extra mile to find what you need. Stephanie in the office is always kind and willing to help anytime you need it with your warenty weather its questions or how to do something, she is there to help with a great attitude. Bill who is invaluable when it comes to trouble shooting issue that arise with your New RV. He has helped me on his days off, Holidays and after hours, He is invaluable to the operation and does a Outstanding job! Katie, my sales person and first contact has been there to help out whenever needed. She helped guide me to the departments need to get questions answer and ultimatly solving my concerns. Amazing work. Had a new baseplate put on my 2023 chevy colorado trail boss. Almost cannot see the baseplate. Had breakaway, battery charger, and a hot 12v outlet also installed...Expertly installed! Brian dis the work. Demi did the paperwork. So far completely satisfied with the outcome. Brian did so well on the breakaway and 12v outlet I had to have him show me where they were. Perfect placement without messing up the interior of my new truck. Never got that from previous dealer.

We flew to look at the RV's at Transwest RV and Lance Ortega took excellent care of us!! He took us through all the RV's, in addition, by the time we left for the day I had more knowledge of a Newmar Motorhome than most people. He is not only kind, but very knowledgeable. I highly recommend if you are looking for a Motorhome it would be worth your while to ask for Lance, he is the man to go to!!!

Isabelle is the greatest. The entire team at Transwest is so knowledgeable and kind, so easy to do business with, and they care.

I bought my rig here and it was the best price around. I had some service done too. Their scheduling is a little wonky, but honestly scheduling is hard. When you have to wait, there is a nice area to sit and get caught up on email or reading.

Steven V. was very accommodating and spent the time to listen to our request. He followed through with the tasks and communicated with us. I appreciate the care that Steven provided.

I hardly recommend trans West and especially Steve Vega. He is exceptional and so helpful!!!

Great sales staff and great inventory of Newmar Dutch Star Class A motor homes.

I am writing this review from Jackson, Wy. I wouldn't be here now without the help from the team at Transwest. We broke down in Wyoming on our 4 month trip of a lifetime to 19 State and National parks. Upon contacting Transwest, every person we came in contact with helped us get back on the road. Mandy, the parts rep, heard out our problems and doggedly chased down what er needed. Jamie, the lead service writer, worked us into the schedule. Brian, our service writer, lined up our 3 issues and made sure they were completed. Chris, the tech, got everything done, even surmounting a broken bushing with a spare one he found. Ken, the service manager, oversaw that it all came together and we were all done the say day. My wife and I don't refer to them as Transwest... we call them Trans-sweet.

We bought our Winnebago EKKO here a little over a year ago and we have been impressed with their responsiveness, friendliness and their quality of service.

We have used Transwest before on service work and repairs. This was the first trade in purchase. We ended up getting to do business with 2 sales men Jeff & Lance both were great to work with , very knowledgeable and helpful. The tech walked us through the new couch explained everything to us and never made us feel rushed. Will definitely do busyness here again.

Called to book two recall repairs for our RV. Isabel gave me a date a few weeks out and said repairs could take a week to ten days. Spoke with Isabel the day before, and as promised the parts had arrived and we were still on for the next day. Dropped off RV at the agreed time of 9:30 AM on a Friday of a holiday weekend. 3:15 that afternoon received a call that the repairs were completed! From the phone interactions with Isabel to checkin and checkout with Steve, we couldn’t be happier with the customer service we received. Although one of the recalls involved a hidden repair the other one involved changing the switches right by the door. The work by the repair technician is top notch. If More RV repairs are needed I will be returning to TransWest in Frederick, CO.

I would highly recommend Transwest to anyone who needs repairs on their RV!! My water pump had been leaking and my refrigerator stopped working. Since I was traveling east, I was referred to this shop by their other location in Denver, and when I called I spoke to Cassie, who put me on the schedule 4 days from when I called, which worked perfectly for my travel plans. I received a call from Tristain the day before my arrival, and he confirmed everything I needed done with the van. He and the mechanics were very efficient in getting me in and out. I arrived at 10:30 that morning, and since I live in my van full-time, Tristain and his team made an extra effort to have me out by 5pm the same day. I was expecting to have to stay at the location for at least 3-4 days based on wait times/previous experience with other mechanics, so I can’t thank the whole TransWest team for getting me back on the road, with all my issues resolved! HIGHLY RECOMMEND for ANY service, they are attentive, kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable! Thank you again TransWest team!

Went to a million shops before I landed here, and you shouldn’t! Best RV shop I’ve ever set foot in! Excellent folks, great service, very timely and professional! Went above and beyond to get me on the road again! Huge thanks to them, especially Tristan!

My wife and I purchased an Antero Adventure Motors Bamaga from Transwest of Fredrick in March of 2023 and are so happy we found this location. We worked with Grant and he was amazing, ho est, responsive, and has continued to be a help after the sale. They let me spend two and a half hours on the walkthrough with a check list and tools checking every detail and I only found two things, one of which was a leak in the water system that needed a valve replacement that had to be ordered. They got the part ordered and replaced before the warm weather came and were amazing with the repair. Steven in service was friendly and flexible. We went into a lot of dealers looking for our van had had a lot of bad experiences, so we are endlessly grateful we found this one and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Highly recommend! Salesman Dwayne Pinnell accepted my offer on motorhome quickly and without drama. He was very knowledgeable, honest and helpful during entire process, which was challenging because I live over 1000 miles away. I flew in and he offered to pick me up at airport. Then, while there, being shown my coach, an unexpected turn of events happened (MY FAULT, not Transwest) forcing me to stay another day in Missouri. Stressed and feeling somewhat helpless, Dwayne stepped up and arranged a hotel room for me nearby to stay the night. He even dropped me off at hotel and picked me up the next morning! He helped to alleviate my stress and allowed me to relax and enjoy the moment of purchasing my first motorhome for myself and my family. He even gave me a lift to the local Walmart so I could get some supplies for a long trip home. Dwayne is a class act and the right man for the job! Give him a call. Tami Bischoff in Finance was very understanding, patient and kind also. And technician Jeff was knowledgeable during PDI and fixed an issue that came up right then and there.

I would like to take a moment to acknowledge, and in my opinion, one of the best of the best. The sales team of transwest rv in belton mo. Sir Lance Ortega. At some point, someone said "well that can't be done." It was at that point that Sir Lance rolled up his work sleeves, went to the cleansers, picked up his super person cape, and went to work. Sir Lance, with his " CAN DO," attitude, duggg down deep into his bag of let's try plane B bag and low and behold wala. Sir, my hats are off to you. My most heart felt thank you and all the members of a fanominal sales team. Bernard Smith ps things worked out well in Colorado. Again thank you Sir.

Purchased a Newmar Canyon Star over the phone. Simple easy process. Salesman Marc Webber was great, no upselling pressure. Had everything ready when we arrived to collect the RV. Had an issue with one damaged part. They took the part off another unsold unit and installed it on mine, and we were good to go. Richard in finance was great too. All done in record time. Great experience. Highly recommended

Just want to give a shout out to Nathan Clark of the Fountain CO location. Nathan is a very responsive, knowledgeable and polite salesperson, and most of all, he goes above and beyond to give good customer service. We were trying to imagine buying even though we live in New England, and Nathan was willing to try to think outside of the box to make the deal happen. Very pleasant to work with, highly recommend!
