Family patriarch and founder, Bob Tiffin opened the company in 1972 in the town of Red Bay, Alabama.

At the time, the RV industry was still in its infancy. Throughout the years, Bob worked tirelessly to foster high standards for production, quality, and customer service

that the Tiffin name is known. They have accomplished this by limiting production to 12 units per day.

By reducing quantity, the Tiffin team is better able to focus on ensuring the product they are making is of the highest quality, which, in turn, leads to your happiness.

Sons, Tim, Van, and Lex have all followed in their father’s footsteps and taken on the mantle of leadership in the family business.

Oldest son, Tim serves as General Manager while his younger brothers Van and Lex work as Research and Development Manager and Quality and Assistant Plant Manager, respectively. Tiffin Motorhomes truly is a family operation where the ideals and standards started by Bob Tiffin are being carried forward through the next generation.
