What’s an RUV?
RUV stands for Recreational Utility Vehicle.
Imagine all the mobility of a large SUV with all the convenience of an RV. The concept was first introduced to the United States in 2013, giving #RVlife seekers the original “in-betweener RV”. At this time, Thor Motorcoach is the only manufacturer, but the idea is taking off with consumers.
The Compass is perfect for your growing family, offering comfortable accommodations for up to 4 people for cross country travel. Their four-floor plans offer up to two slides and full or queen size bed options. There’s a Dream Dinette option in the 23TK model, which is fantastically sized for a couple and small children.
If you’d rather have the pullout leather couch, know that it conveniently extends to a futon double bed. If you prefer more living space, the 23TB, 23TR, and the 34TX all offer flip-up queen bed options, giving you more leg room in the back of the motorhome to extend.
The largest Compass extends to 24’ 11”, which means you’ll never be turned away from a campground or State Park because your motorhome is too big!
The driveability of the Compass is smooth on either a Ford Transit or Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. Much like driving a truck, the Compass cockpit offers Leatherette Captain’s driver and passenger chairs.

Instead of spending your travel funds on greasy restaurants, cook a clean and healthy meal in your Compass RUV. The two burner stove is complemented with a microwave/convection oven.
The 5.5 cubic feet refrigerator will perfectly cool your fresh food and drinks.
The kitchenette features pressed laminate countertops, and elegant Euro-Style Cabinet Doors with soft close hidden hinges. Easy to clean, the large under-mount stainless steel single bowl sink has a single handle kitchen faucet with a convenient pull-down sprayer.
The entire coach has custom privacy curtains to block out sunlight, making the 32’ LED TV that much easier to see. Outside the coach, there are three color styles to choose from including Shooting Star HD-Max, TrailBlazer HD-max, and Shooting Star HD-Max. Windows blend perfectly into the lines of the coach with frameless windows.
Outdoor living is easy with propane storage, water heater, outdoor speakers, and optional outdoor TV. Outdoor shower hookup for quick and easy clean up after vacation adventures.
