Description

As a custodian, your primary responsibility will be to help keep our state-of-the-art facilities clean and organized.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Indoor and outdoor trash disposal
  • Sweep and scrub floors
  • Clean up oil and pain spills
  • Clean display floors, locker rooms, restrooms, and break areas
  • Clean garage doors, windows, technician work bays and exterior aprons
  • Clean warehouse thoroughly
  • Clean various pieces of equipment
  • Clean all company vehicles
  • Clean and organize the tool room
  • Light maintenance work
  • Perform safety cabinet audits including checking fire extinguishers
  • Additional duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

  • Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time
  • Manual dexterity, fine manipulation, the ability to reach with hands and arms, the ability to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to regularly move items weighing 20 lbs
  • Must be able to operate simple, complex and heavy-duty machinery
  • Normal range of hearing and vision

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to represent the company in a professional manner
  • Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment, pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screen

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Prior custodial or janitorial experience is preferred.

  • Compensation Range: $17.00 - $20.00

  • Reports To: Custodial Operations Supervisor
