What is the pay like for a diesel technician?
Transwest is an industry leader, thus allowing us to offer competitive pay for our Technicians. Based on skill, experience, and certification, technicians may be paid hourly or flat rate. Additionally we offer a robust benefits package including medical, dental, life, disability insurance, 401(k), paid holidays, paid time off, and an employee car discount program.
What types of truck equipment would I work on?
At Transwest, we work on the leading brands in medium-duty and heavy-duty trucks, bumper-to-bumper. As a diesel mechanic, you'll work on a wide range of trucks and their problems. You'll also have access to the latest equipment and cutting-edge diagnostic technology.
